A new Perspective

You may already be aware of people that say I want freedom or they are looking for freedom. You may hear people say i want freedom from the job, the spouse, the family, etc.
From my own experience and observation, what I came to realize is that what people really want is emotional freedom from their past so they can be more comfortable with themselves, to be able to make better choices and better decisions. I am wondering, how many people are aware of this?
When you find yourself responding to situations in a negative way, ask yourself, “What am I responding to”? Is it the current situation or an old fear of losing control (habit from the past)? You may have learned to respond that way a long time ago,when you didn’t have as many skills and choices that you have now. Many people have been surprised with the discoveries they have made, just by asking that question.
